I don’t know about you, but I always seem to see an article headline saying something like “This One Thing Helped Me Finally Lose Weight”. Well, I thought it would be interesting to look through a bunch of these types of articles and make a list of all the “one things” that people say. I ended up looking at 67 different articles with similar types of headlines.
The one concept that showed up the most was to eat more fiber. FYI, women need 25 grams of fiber per day, and men need 38 grams per day, according to the Institute of Medicine. Some of the best choices for fiber include beans, peas, artichokes, whole wheat flour, dark leafy greens, barley, bulgur, raspberries, blackberries, prunes, nuts, and oats.
